K9 Club Dogs For Adoption

OFFERED FOR ADOPTION BY K9 CLUB / Page 1

Buster is one of the dogs that we rescued after he and three other dogs were thrown into a disused reservoir during the hot Spain summer season. Whoever did this was cruel and heartless, they were left there to die. It took our volunteers many hours to rescue all four of them as they were highly traumatised and they ran all around the sweltering reservoir to avoid capture by evil humans. Buster has been in our private kennels for a few weeks and is only now coming around to trusting people again. He needs someone with patience and understanding, someone that will take the time to gain his trust.

This 3 year old little girl was thrown into a disused reservoir along with 3 other small dogs. They were left there to die in a sweltering concrete basin under the hot Spanish summer sun. Luckily a jogger passing by saw them and contacted us before it was too late. It took our volunteers many hours to rescue all four of them as they were highly traumatised and they ran all around the steaming reservoir to avoid capture by evil humans. Candy girl has been in a foster home for a few weeks and is only now coming around to trusting people again. She needs someone that will take the time to gain her trust. We are confident that this special person will be rewarded with the love and attention of a beautiful small dog that has been close to death and recovered to enjoy life again.

This 5 month old German Shepherd puppy was found with another dog in the middle of a main road dodging cars that were passing very close and not slowing down. We were called out to the scene and we rescued them. We took them to the vet clinic for examination. They were both covered in tics and fleas, an indication that they had wandering in the fields for many days under the hot Spanish sun before they were rescued. They remained in the animal hospital for a day to receive treatment for the infestation. The German Shepherd is very thin, a little timid but a very friendly boy and also very appealing, we have named him Fraser.

Sandy was found with another dog tied to a fence next to a gasoline station. He is in very good condition and even had a new Scalibor mosquito protection collar around his neck. He is a beautiful boy and very friendly. We hoped that an owner would come forward but to no avail. He is approx 1 year and ready for adoption.

Lou is a Heinz 57 dog, even the vet could not decide which breed she has in her. What we do know is she is 8 months old and a very appealing small dog. She was adopted by a family as a very young puppy a few months ago, but now their young daughter has developed an allergy to Lou’s dog hairs, and although they love her dearly they have no choice but to return her to us to find a new home for her. Lou has a microchip, she is kind, loving, playful, and very good with children, as you can see in this photo. She is a quick learner and very bright. She is also good with other dogs and cats.

This Airedale Terrier was dumped from a small van in an urbanisation during a rain storm. The white van had written in English on the side ‘Home Nursing’ and also had different coloured logos or images on it. This dog then laid in a field next to spot where he was dumped for three days. Nearby neighbours became concerned about him and fed him until he was willing to be rescued. He is very gentle and his age is 1 year. His name is Boycee.

K9 Club fosterer Anita found this dog on a main road in an urbanisation near to a supermarket. She put a lead on her and the dog led Anita to her litter of seven puppies. All the puppies except one have now gone to new homes. We have named the mother Luna. She is a Collie cross. Someone has previously cut most of her ears off but she is nevertheless good natured and adorable. Luna is now ready for a new home

This dog is the property of a Spanish man who has a small holding, he keeps a few dogs there. A lady volunteer goes there to care for the dogs and when the man decides he doesn't want one of them anymore she must find a home for the dog before he tries to kill it. Foffi is a discarded 4 yr old sheepdog, he is very friendly. We urgently need someone to either adopt him or foster him
