3 K9 Dogs For Adoption

OFFERED FOR ADOPTION BY K9 CLUB / Page 3

Milly looks like a whippet cross. She was rescued by one of our volunteers living in the country after she saw their Spanish neighbour kicking the dog and then try to run her over with their car, she received a few minor injuries.  Milly is 7 months old and a very friendly girl. She has fully recovered from her ordeal, she loves to play with a ball and likes a cuddle.

Sheba was found with another dog tied to a fence next to a gasoline station. She is in very good condition and even had a new Scalibor mosquito protection collar around her neck. She has a microchip but the owner cannot be traced. She has long hair, she is very sociable. We hoped that an owner would come forward but to no avail. Sheba is approx 1 year and ready for adoption.

Nula was found outside the gates of a house of a lady living on her own along with her mother that was by her side. Nula is a very small dog with a very pleasant personality, probably a Chihuahua cross. She likes to play and also likes to sit on your lap. She is 3 months and will make a great lap dog.

These 3 Spanish Mastin puppies were found inside a Basura bin by a man walking his dog in the country. His own dogs brought his attention to them by crying at the bin. They are just 10 weeks old, there are two female and one male. The male pup has fur removed from his tail. They are a little frightened but we expect them to recover fully.

Cassie is a 5 yr old English Staffordshire Terrier. She is very well trained, obedient, very loyal and loves people. She has her Pet Pasport and all her vaccinations are up to date. Due to ill health her owners have had to return to the UK and are heartbroken that they have had to leave her behind.

Dixie is Cassie's brother (above) and is also in need of a new home. He also has a Pet Passport and up to date with his vaccinations. He is obedient and very loyal and promises to give you lots of fun and laughter. Dixie is like a cat in the way he cleans himself, he licks his paw and then wipes himself clean.

This 1 year old Belgium Shepherd was found next to a canal by an animal rescue volunteer. She has a very pleasing personality and she has quickly regained her confidence. She is very graceful and obedient. She is now in our kennels and we recommend her for adoption to anyone that likes this type of dog, or perhaps you can foster her until we find her a new permanent home?

We have named her Zoe.

This Gentle Giant is a cross Mastin/Labrador. When he was found wandering in a field he had a massive wound on the right side of his face. We believe that this was caused by an attack by another large dog a couple of weeks before his rescue. It was very badly infected and he had to spend some time in the animal hospital in Guardamar. He is big softy that demands nothing and responds to even the slightest show of affection by wagging his tail and coming to you. He is 6 years old and he deserves a nice new home to relax in.

Bolli is about seven year old female farmers sheepdog but he no longer wants her. She looks like a Collie cross, her ears have been cut short by someone when she was a puppy. She has spent most of her life chained up. She is a bit shy of people she doesn’t know because she has always lived a lonely life outside, except for when a volunteer visits her and the other dogs at the finca. Bolli is a very nice girl, she has a good nature and likes dogs and cats. The volunteer has been visiting her since she was a puppy and this is why Bolli is socialised. She has been spayed.

This German shepherd was seen in the fields near to Guardamar, an English man cared for him and fed him over a two week period. The man was then due to go back to the UK and he was very concerned about the dog. He contacted us and we agreed to take him and care for him until we find him a new home. He is a typical German Shepherd with a gentle temperament and very obedient. He is 18 months old and after an examination by our vet he has been declared in relatively good condition. He does not have a microchip, we have named him Rex. If you like German Shepherds you will not be disappointed. A visit to meet him is highly recommended.

Charlie is a dark chocolate coloured Labrador cross. His owner has returned to Sweden and although Charlie has a microchip and passport he was not able to take him. Charlie is 2 years old, he has been castrated and he is a beautiful dog.

This dog was found caked in mud cowering under a basura in the open countryside when she was just two months old. A family took her in but she soon became too large for their small children to handle. She is now three months old and in good condition. We believe that she is a Labrador cross. We have named her Casandra, she is a little nervous but this is understandable. She will be a medium to large adult dog, she is very affectionate.

This dog was found in a canal and rescued by a friend of one of our volunteers. She is a Labrador cross, approx 2 years old. She was very nervous when she was first rescued but now she has gained a lot of confidence and her tail is wagging as soon as anyone approaches her. She is a very friendly girl and will make a very loyal companion. We have called her Libby.

Truffles is a small dog and was found with his four sibling a few months ago. He was adopted then but now finds himself looking for a new home again due to his owner having to return to UK and not able to take him. He is a Spaniel cross, now five months old. He is easy to please, has been fully vaccinated and is very friendly.

This is a puppy from Luna, she is a German Shepherd / Collie cross. He has had his vaccinations and is now looking for a family to love him and take care for him. He is good with children and with other dogs. He is now 8 months old, we have named him Paul.

Gida is a medium size dog approx 1 year old. She has spent most of her life to date tied up with a piece of rope on a small patio terrace. The Spanish people that owned the house have moved out and left her there. At first she is a little afraid of strangers but she is very friendly. She is being cared for by neighbours until a home can be found for her.

Ella is a 9 month old small dog. She is a little timid but once she gets to know you she is very loving. Unfortunately she had to be moved from a foster home and now she is in a kennel until such time as she is adopted. We have never heard her bark, she is very obedient, easy to please and will make a great lap dog for her new owner.

Marty the Chocolate Pointer was found by a local resident on a main road. He was in an extremely emaciated state and in danger of being hit by vehicles. He is recovering in a foster home and is already putting on weight. He has a beautiful temperament and loves to play and chase ball, he is neutered, house trained and is happy living inside or outside. He is approx 1 year old and when he gets to his correct weight will be a beautiful example of his breed.
